Hello again and happy Friday! We’re glad to be back with you sharing our five for Friday from the week. It’s been a fun-filled week for us! Check out what we’ve been up to.
On Monday we celebrated Leap Day! It’s a special time when this day rolls around every four years. On our Leap Day we celebrated with beautiful weather here in Fort Worth and soaked up some rays with lots of recess and outdoor fun. Leave us a comment to let us know what you did on this special day.
March began earlier this week! It is amazing how fast time flies. March seems to always begin the downhill slope to summer. We can’t wait to see what fun adventures we get to have with our kiddos in March and the rest of the school year!
Not only did we celebrate Leap Day and the beginning of March this week, but we also celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday!
During the week our kiddos got to explore a Dr. Seuss sensory bin.
And create a Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish inspired art project.
We shared all the details of these activities earlier this week in a blog post entitled Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! Check out the post for all the fun birthday details.
My Donors Choose project is still $100 away from being funded. Please help us get this project funded. If you are able to donate we greatly appreciate it! Help us share the link on social media to get this project funded!
We don’t know about you, but we are counting down the days til spring break. Only 4 more days with kids and 1 staff development day to go! Angie and I are looking forward to a week off to relax and get some things done outside of school. Neither one of us has any big plans for the week, but it will be nice to have some time to recharge our batteries. What are your spring break plans? Leave us a comment and let us know!
We hope you have enjoyed reading our five for Friday from the week. Keep working hard towards spring break fellow teachers!
