Happy Friday! Another Friday is here which means it’s time for us to link up again with Doodle Bugs Teaching and share our Five For Friday.
Today is our first official day back to work. It is a bittersweet day. As much as we both love our jobs and love what we do, we also love summer! Summer 2016 has been very good to each of us and it is a little sad to see it end.
We spent a few hours earlier in the week working in our classroom. Thankfully we didn’t have to move rooms this year so it didn’t take us too long to get the furniture back in place. We still have work to do but will have some time today and next week to get it ready for the kiddos.
I think pretty much every teacher knows this feeling! There are so many things we good be accomplishing if we could just get our hands on those class lists. The ideas are swirling but in order for our ideas to come to fruition we’ve got to see our lists!
Since we weren’t able to label things for our class yet, we spent some time this week finishing up two new lightbox display sets for our Teachers Pay Teachers store.
The first of our two new lightbox designs is a Pre-K Learning Focus set. This set covers all the basic skills in a Pre-K classroom and makes a great addition to any Pre-K class. Students, administrators, parents, and other visitors can easily identify what the classroom learning focus or objectives are for the week by simply looking at this display.
The second of our new lightbox display sets is a holiday countdown set. With this set you can help your students count down to various holidays throughout the school year. This set is a festive addition to any classroom.
Has anyone else been watching the Olympics nonstop this week? I can’t get enough of Team USA! What are your favorite Olympic events? So far I’ve been obsessing over the Final Five gymnastics team and of course Michael Phelps! I can’t wait to see how Team USA dominates over the next week.
That wraps up our Five For Friday for the week. Next week we will continue our back to school preparations and will be sharing our journey to the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year!
