Happy Friday! Another summer week has come and gone and we are back linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share our Five For Friday.
We had the BEST time at Frog Street Splash last weekend! Splash is always one of the highlights of our summer and this year was no different. From the amazing keynote speakers to the Friday night dinner to presenting to a packed house of fellow educators, we had a blast! If you attended one of our sessions, THANK YOU! We are very blessed to have been given the opportunity to present this year and we look forward to next year’s event!
After spending last week traveling around the state to present at different conferences we were both so glad to be back in our own homes and our own beds! Traveling is always fun but nothing can compare to your own bed.
There is a brand new set of meet the teacher lightbox displays in our Teachers Pay Teachers store! If you have a lightbox for your classroom you definitely need this display set. It is perfect for meet the teacher and all of your back to school events. This set includes grade level specific welcome signs for Pre-K-5th grades including PPCD, Speech, Resource, Music, and P.E. It also includes basic welcome back to school signs in 4 different backgrounds and please sign in displays in the same 4 backgrounds to match.
Check it out and pick up a set for your classroom today!
Our classroom has some pokeballs! Thanks to Hope at Elementary Shenanigans for the tip, we were able to find these containers that look just like pokeballs at Party City. Our kids are going to have so much fun with these this year. We have already been brainstorming lots of ideas as to how we are going to use these in our classroom! You may want to head by your local Party City today and pick up your own pokeballs!
This meme is basically everything we are feeling right now. The end of summer is never a fun time. The transition back to our normal schedule is never easy. This is especially true when you’ve been living in a fantasy land where you can stay up as late as you want, sleep in all morning, never wear makeup, and spend most of your afternoon in a swimsuit like we have. Good luck to all the teachers out there who are making the same transition!
That wraps up our Five For Friday for this week. We are slowly getting ourselves prepared to head back to reality, so make sure to keep checking back to see how we end our summer and all of our back to school prep!
