Hello again and happy Friday to you! We love Fridays for many reasons, but one of those is that we get to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching and share our five for Friday with you.
We had a fun week this week exploring the book Mouse Paint! After reading the book we did several Mouse Paint themed activities including a sensory bin, color identification practice page, and creating our own Mouse Paint feely bags! The feely bags were a hit and everyone’s favorite activity from the week. To find out all the details on these activities, check out our post from earlier this week called Mouse Paint Madness.
Spring is on the horizon, which also means Easter is coming! We have a brand new Easter math center game in our Teachers Pay Teachers store for the occasion.
This is a fun counting game in which students are able to roll a die to see how many eggs they will put in their basket. The first person with 10 eggs in their basket wins!

We’re having a sale! To celebrate Leap Day we are putting our entire TpT store on sale for 20% off Monday, February 29-March 1! Mark you calendar to shop & save big!
We are SO close to getting brand new STEM materials. My Donors Choose project only has $100 left until it is fully funded. Please, please, please share this out on social media to help us reach our goal. We greatly appreciate all the donations, likes, and shares that have helped us get to this point. We can’t wait to share pictures with you of all our new STEM materials when they come!
We did a little bit of rearranging this week. Every now and then things in the classroom need to be revamped. We really felt that our home center was not set up in a way to best utilize the space so we did a bit of rearranging and came up with a much better setup.
Here’s the old version:
And now the new & improved home center:
The whole center feels so much more open and inviting! We are really loving this space now and so do our kids. They are having much more fun, interacting better, and keeping the stuff contained better within the center.
Some of the kids even had a family dinner to celebrate the new center!
That wraps up our five for Friday from the week. We hope you’ve enjoyed reading about our week and look forward to sharing more with you next Friday!
