Welcome back, it’s time for another five for Friday! We are linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share a special Valentine’s Day edition of five for Friday from the week.
It’s Valentine party day! Party days are always a crazy fun day full of laughter, smiles, wild antics, and sugar highs! Our kiddos have been asking about our class Valentine party since February 1st, so we know they are going to be off the charts excited that it is finally here. We can’t wait to see the Valentines they all bring for their friends! It is definitely going to be a fun day!
Speaking of Valentine’s Day…we shared a post earlier in the week with all the details of what we have been doing in the classroom to celebrate Valentine’s Day. If you have not read it yet, please do!
During our week we had a Valentine sensory bin, celebrated with a party in the home center, made love bombs, and more! All the details of these activities are included in the post. These Valentine activities are some of our favorites and definitely worth the time to read about!
I’m sure many of you out there have sweet Valentine’s Day plans with your significant other. Being two single ladies, Angie and myself made plans with another single friend to head to the movies tonight to see How To Be Single. This movie looks incredibly funny and we are all big fans of Rebel Wilson, so we are really looking forward to it! If you head out to see this movie this weekend as well, let us know what you think!
We have a brand new product in our Teachers Pay Teachers store!
Nothing goes together better than peanut butter and jelly, which was the inspiration behind our new peanut butter and jelly alphabet matching game. Each peanut butter side has a letter on it, and each jelly side has a picture that begins with the specified letter.
This game is great for teaching kids letter identification and sounds. Head on over to our store and pick up a set for your kiddos today!
My Donors Choose STEM project is coming along! Slowly but surely this project is being funded but we still have $270 to go. Please share the project link on social media to help get it funded. If you are able to help or know someone who can, click on this link to get more information. We thank you for any support you are able to offer!
Thanks for checking out this week’s five for Friday! For those of you having your class Valentine’s Day party today, we wish you good luck! We hope all of you enjoy your Valentine’s Day weekend and look forward to sharing more with you next week!
