It’s Friday again and we are so glad you are back to see what we’ve been up to this week! We’re linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share our Five For Friday from the week.
On Monday we observed MLK Day and had the day off of school. This is a favorite quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As teachers it really speaks to us about what we do on a daily basis.
Earlier this week we posted a blog all about traditional tales which we studied with our kiddos last week. This week we learned all about fairy tales. The kids had lots of fun during the week as we read The Princess and the Pea and Jack and the Beanstalk. We of course had to create a fairy tale sensory bin and also did an art activity during the week. All the details of these activities will be on the blog next week, so stay tuned!
Our kiddos still need your help! My Donors Choose project still needs $390 in order to be funded. The kids could really benefit from these STEM materials to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. We appreciate any help you are able to offer!
Wednesday and Thursday of this week brought about the latest Teachers Pay Teachers site wide sale. We participated by putting our entire store on sale for 20% off. And…our store is on sale for one extra day! You can still save on all of our products. Head over to our store now and load up your cart. You don’t want to miss out on some great savings!
Something big is in the works! We can’t give out too many details yet, but we just submitted paperwork this week for a big, exciting presentation. Once everything is confirmed we will share the news with you!
That wraps up our Five For Friday from this week. This has not been the most eventful week but it has been fun nonetheless. We hope you have enjoyed reading about our week! Make sure and come back next week for a post on fairy tales and another Five For Friday!
