Happy Friday! We are excited for another Friday and another opportunity to link up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to bring you our five for Friday for this week!
H was the letter of the week in our Pre-K/PPCD class. The kids are really loving our letter focus lessons. They are producing some great work! We utilize resources from Frog Street Press, Lakeshore, and products from our own Teachers Pay Teachers store during our letter focus lessons.
We had two brand new sensory bins for our kiddos to explore this week!
The first sensory bin consisted of all things purple, as purple was our color of the week this week.
The second sensory bin was a fall leaf exploration sensory bin. Every kid loves to go outside and play in the leaves, so you can only imagine how much they loved this sensory bin! We will share all the details of both of these sensory bins in next week’s blog post.
A few new products were added to our Teachers Pay Teachers store this week. One of which is an autumn math center pack. There are six fun math activities included that make great independent practice and small group activities and games. Head over to Teachers Pay Teachers to pick up this pack for your classroom today!
We are packing up the car and heading down to Houston this weekend for the Kindergarten Teachers Of Texas annual conference! Angie and I will be presenting a session about integrating Pinterest ideas into the classroom. We are excited to share some fun from our classroom with other teachers! You can find more information about this conference on their website. If you are interested in the ideas we will be sharing, you can find most either through our blog or on our Pinterest.
We have Columbus Day off on Monday and therefore we are looking forward to a long weekend. After we get back from Houston both Angie and myself are looking forward to having an extra day to relax and recharge before heading back to school on Tuesday. If you are lucky enough to have Monday off as well, enjoy it! Long weekends are the best!
That rounds out our five for Friday for the past week. If you happen to be at the KTOT conference this weekend, come by and say hi. We would love to see you!
