We had two brand new sensory tables this week! The color of the week in our class this week was red, so we had an entire sensory table of all things red. Our second sensory table was an apple sensory table that went with this week’s of 5 senses. All the details will be on our blog next week, so stay tuned!

In-N-Out came to school on Wednesday! It was a special treat to be able to have an In-N-Out burger without even leaving campus. They brought their truck up to school and provided lunch at a minimal cost with 100% of the proceeds going back to our school. We enjoyed their food and the opportunity to give back to our students. Just a little secret about In-N-Out…all of their wrappers have Bible verses printed on the bottom. Look for them next time you go!

Number 3Five For Friday Picture Day

Thursday was school picture day. I always love seeing the kids dressed in their best clothes and special hairdos. We practiced our smiles before going down to see the photographer. Based on the kids’ practice smiles I’m sure all their pictures are completely adorable.

Number 4Five For Friday Taste Test

This week we have been studying our 5 senses. During the discussion of the sense of taste the kids got to have a taste test. The taste test is so much fun! We will share more info about this in a blog post next week.

Number 5Five For Friday Countdown

I love your sensory bins! I’ve been using sensory things in centers (hiding vocabulary words in easter grass, etc) since we have so many special needs this year. You have such great ideas. 🙂
