Happy Friday friends! We are glad it is almost the weekend after spending our week in trainings, working in our classroom, and having meet the teacher night. Back to school is in full swing and we are (almost) ready for our new kiddos to join us on Monday! Here’s our five for Friday for the week!
We participated in the Teachers Pay Teachers boost sale on Wednesday. Teachers Pay Teachers has so many great resources available and it is even better when you can get them on sale. If you haven’t been to our store yet and looked at what we offer, go now and check it out! We have lots of great items we would love for you to use in your classroom. If you have bought anything from our store, let us know how it works for you. We love hearing how teachers use our products in their classrooms!
We put the finishing touches on our bulletin board this week. This bulletin board is probably my favorite part of our room. Both Angie and myself are excited to play a part in preparing our kiddos to go from from crayons to college!
Our principal sent the entire staff on a crazy scavenger hunt around town as part of our professional development. We had so much fun getting off campus for awhile and making our way around the neighborhood, though we were all pretty hot and sweaty by the end. The best part of the entire scavenger hunt was the end when we found out our team won and gets to wear jeans for a whole week as our prize!
At meet the teacher night we gave each of our students a little book as a welcome gift. We made the cute little gift tags to go on the books as well. You can get these same book tags free in our Teachers Pay Teachers store to use for your back to school gifts. Click here to download them now!
We got some brand new spirit shirts for back to school. The shirts are super comfy and going to make great Friday shirts. The only problem? The shirts say 2014-2015 on them! Luckily, the way the shirt is you really can’t even read it once it’s on.
This week has been a whirlwind of back to school craziness. Angie and I are looking forward to a great year watching our students grow and succeed. Come back next week to see what happens on our first few days of the new school year!
